Cheryl B. Engelhardt presenta su nuevo álbum, "The Passenger", una colección de nueve pistas compuestas y producidas en un viaje en tren a través de Estados Unidos. Programada para asistir a los Premios Grammy 2022 y actuar en la fiesta previa, decidió tomar un tren de Nueva York a Los Ángeles. Dos semanas antes de su partida, su más querida amiga falleció. Afligida por el dolor, Cheryl pasó 9 días, en un "cuarto compartido" procesando su pérdida y que resultó ser la forma en que el Universo la ayudó a sanar. Mientras estaba en el tren, Engelhardt envió archivos a colaboradores para contribuir con su talento. El ábum brilla viajando sobre pigmentos cremosos y etéreos, flotando y deslizándose con una tranquilidad suave y relajante.
